A directory you can browse freely

Verified Pros is a home services professional directory serving Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. Homeowners search, compare profiles, and contact their chosen professional directly. No consumer account, project submission, matching request, or homeowner fee is required. Results depend on available approved professionals. This is not emergency dispatch.

Your choice and your project

You choose whom to hire and agree directly with that professional on work, permits, insurance requirements, scope, price, and payment terms. Request a written contract and confirm current credentials for your project. Verified Pros does not perform contracting work, collect project deposits, or guarantee work or availability.

Professional accounts and profiles

Professionals may create an account, build a profile, and upload business and work photos plus optional license and insurance documents. Information must be truthful and current, and you must have permission to share materials and reference contacts. Approved directory listings require permission to display the business phone and email so homeowners can contact you directly. An application or payment never purchases verification.

Review and publication

Only approved profiles with current identity, applicable license / registration, and background reviews appear in directory results. Insurance and reference reviews are optional and do not block publication; uploaded documents alone do not verify insurance. Editing a profile or changing its uploaded files returns it to draft and requires a fresh review. Expired required checks also remove the listing from directory results until reviewed. Test profiles are permanently excluded from public searches. Do not upload government identity documents, Social Security numbers, raw background reports, or photos of children.

What checks mean

Each public badge identifies the completed review’s scope, source, and date. Checks are limited by their sources, timing, and scope. An owner check does not cover employees or subcontractors. No check guarantees safety, skill, workmanship, financial reliability, or completion. Credentials must apply to the relevant trade, location, and work. The planned Checkr integration is not connected yet; no report is automatically ordered through this site.

Founding professional offer

Approved founding professionals receive 90 days of free listing beginning on their first approval date. Draft creation or time spent awaiting review does not start that period. Review and continuing eligibility are required throughout it. No card is required and there is no automatic charge or automatic paid conversion. Any future subscription requires separate agreement to the price, billing terms, and cancellation policy. Listing does not guarantee calls, traffic, jobs, or income. No pay-per-lead charges apply to this launch offer.

Acceptable use and concerns

Do not submit false credentials, impersonate others, spam forms, or attempt unauthorized access. We may review or remove profiles for misuse or failure to maintain eligibility. These terms do not limit applicable consumer protection rights.
